Health Planning :

Health does not only mean absence of a disease, instead its a state of complete physical and mental well- being. Achieving and maintaining a healthy lifestyle is very essential for every individual.

Your health is in your control. Besides, maintaining the basic conditions of hygiene, its important for an individual to cover himself under a health insurance policy. Perfect health is never guaranteed, therefore its important to have a health cover. Buying a medical policy is the most important step towards health planning. Although it does not save you from diseases but help you to meet the sky rocketing medical expenses.

You must have saved for your tough times, but with the increase in the medical cost, savings alone does not suffice. A surgery costs 10 times more than what it used to 5 years back and with the increasing medical facilities and developments, these prices are ascertained to rise.

Today, when you are at the age of 30, you might not think of buying a health insurance policy for yourself as your employer provides you with one. But what when you retire?

Neither your past employer nor any insurance company would cover you at that age. This is the age where we get vulnerable to multiple medical problems such as heart diseases, blood pressure, diabetes, joint pains and many more ailments which require regular medical attention.

Buying a medical policy then would not be of much use as it would not cover many diseases and the policy holder would have to bear a waiting period to get them onto the list. Moreover, the policy would not cover any pre-existing disease which otherwise would have got covered under a policy bought earlier. Thus, its very important to carry a health cover at every stage of life and proper health planning is the key to achieving good health.
